What is new in the 2nd edition?

Like the 2nd edition of Digital Kids, Digital Teens also utilizes Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 356/2019 for all instructions and visual prompts in the printed material. This includes new and updated tools, such as:

  •  Microsoft Photos has replaced Microsoft Live Photo Gallery and Movie Maker
  • The Mail app has replaced Microsoft Live Mail
  • LEGO Mindstorms EV3 has replaced LEGO Mindstorms NXT
  • New technologies, like VR and inking, have been added
  • Microsoft Visual Basic Express is introduced in Digital Teens 4
  •  HTML and PHP are introduced in Digital Teens 5

Video tutorials and eBooks of older software versions (including Windows 7, Office 2013, and Office 2016) will still be available on the students’ resource platform.

Expanded online materials on Coding/Programming and Robotics
